About the Plan
A Plan of Conservation and Development (POCD) is an advisory document that is intended to provide a framework of consistent decision making in conservation and development activities over the next 10 years. The Connecticut General Statutes require that towns review and potentially amend the POCD at least every 10 years. Goman & York, a consulting firm, was contracted to provide assistance with the update. Public input was necessary to formulate an overall vision for the future of Ellington.
Please email any questions or comments to Town Planner Lisa M. Houlihan via email at Lhoulihan@ellington-ct.gov.
