The 2019 Municipal Election is Tuesday, November 5.
Tuesday, October 29th is the last day to register to vote for the 2019 Municipal Election, which will be held on November 5th, 2019. For those wishing to register in person, the Registrars of Voters Office will be open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, October 29. If you have a CT driver’s license or identification, you may register online at the Secretary of the State website - voterregistration.ct.gov or sots.ct.gov. The online registration will be open until midnight on Tuesday, October 29th. The sots.ct.gov site also has a voter look-up tool if you would like to verify that you are registered, as well as confirm your polling location. Please note that if you are mailing in a voter registration card, it must be postmarked by this October 29 date as well.
If you are unable to register by tomorrow, October 29, Connecticut also has Election Day Registration, where you can register as well as vote on Election Day. Election Day registration will take place in Town Hall, 55 Main Street on Election Day from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The Municipal Election will be held at both voting districts, Ellington High School and Crystal Lake School from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
