MidNEROC Household Chemical Waste Drop-Off Facility Open2019-07-20T09:00:00Some accepted materials:mercury thermometers and thermostats, dry cleaning fluid, fluorescent bulbs, arts and crafts supplies, rechargeable batteries, general purpose cleaners, aerosol cans with hazardous content, drain cleaners, metal polishers, floor cleaners, oven cleaners, wax and polishes, tile cleaners, toilet cleaners, gasoline, fire starters, engine/radiator flushes, chemistry kits, paints, rust preventative, wood preservative, lead based paint, solvents, degreasers, wood strippers, paint thinner, fertilizers with pesticides and herbicides, muriatic acid, insect spray, pool chemicals, etc.
Not Accepted: medications, asbestos, explosives, fireworks, and ammunition
NOTE: Leftover latex paint may also be disposed of in your regular household trash. First, harden or dry it by removing the lid and placing the can in a safe, well-ventilated area.
