There will be both a Democratic and Republican Primary held in Connecticut for the office of the President of the United States on Tuesday, August 11, 2020. There will also be a Republican primary for the Second District of the U.S. House of Representatives.
Ellington has two districts where in-person voting will take place from 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM
District One: Ellington High School District Two: Crystal Lake School
ONLY ELIGIBLE REGISTERED DEMOCRATIC AND REPUBLICAN VOTERS MAY VOTE IN THESE PRIMARIES.
If you are a new voter or an unaffiliated voter in town and would like to vote in the Primary, you have until noon on August 10th to change your affiliation in person.
The Democratic Presidential Ballot includes the following candidates: Joe Biden, Bernie Sanders, and Tulsi Gabbard.
The Republican Presidential Ballot includes the following candidates: Donald Trump and Rocky DeLaFuente.
Candidates running for the Republican nomination for the Second District of the U.S. House of Representatives are: Justin Anderson and Tom Gilmer.

2020 Presidential Election - November 3, 2020
The 2020 Presidential Election is being held on Tuesday, November 3, 2020.

Information concerning the location of the polls for each district, as well as a sample ballot, will be available closer to Election Day.
